Flowers Gallery in Chelsea is now showing artwork by a group of New York Academy of Art students, faculty and alumni. The show was curated by Matthew Flowers, the owner of the gallery, Laura Hoptman, contemporary art curator at MoMA and Patterson Sims, president of the Board of Independent Curators International. The images below will give you a tour of the gallery while highlighting the variety of art displayed. I have also included a photo from the Opening Reception for this 8th NYAA Summer Exhibition, a fun event that attracted a huge crowd! It is definitely worth seeing the show in person and I am happy to announce that my drawing of "Anna" was one of the artworks selected for display. The show runs until July 12th. More details and a complete catalog of works here.
